Who is
Leo JB Smith?
Leo is the founder, lead author, and President of JBS Studios. Previously he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Induiro Inc., a Technology company, and he was the Chairman and CEO of SMITH Engineering Group, a full-service engineering house.
Leo's educational highlights include graduating summa cum laude from Cass Technical High School, graduating magna cum laude from Henry Ford College, attending Wayne State University and the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Before following his passion for entrepreneurship, Leo's industrial career highlights include completing a 4-year electrical worker apprenticeship with the Public Lighting Department of the City of Detroit, MI, U.S.A., and becoming an industrial journeyman Electrician and Electrical Utility System Supervisor. He is a proud former member of I.B.E.W. (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 17 and Local 58.
Leo's professional career highligths include being an Electrical Engineer with extensive design credits, including designing several major sections of the PLA Street Lighting project in Detroit, and being the Construction Manager of the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project (electrical scope).
Leo's faith in God and striving to be a good husband and father is foremost in his life. Leo is also a concert violinist and is very passionate about fitness, golf, summertime, and the classical arts, including Shakespeare, Emerson, Nietzsche and Goethe.
